Here, you will find a list of texts that I have found to be helpful both for clients and fellow clinicians/colleagues. In my practice, I actively recommend texts to clients that:

  • Deepen self awareness and self-understanding
  • Clarify otherwise complex psychological challenges and psychiatric diagnoses.
  • Provide personal accounts of recovery and treatment
  • Provide concrete, skills-based approaches to wellness (ie homework, worksheets)
  • Empower clients to utilize resources “in the moment” and in the here-and-now

Also listed are texts for use and reference by clinicians and scholars. This list is not meant to be exhaustive, and will be updated frequently.

I encourage clients and clinicians to email me suggested texts, or comments on those listed below.
