Finding a Good Fit

The quality of the relationship between therapist and patient is one of the most important aspects of psychotherapy. Therapy can only work well if there is a good fit between both participants. Like when beginning any new journey, felt safety and a working trust are essential ingredients to setting out with confidence. Therefore, in both the initial phone call, and first in-person consultations, I work with each prospective patient to assess the potential for a good working relationship.
